Waler H. King died June 17 2001 at his home in Livermore, Ca. after a long bout with cancer. He was 69. The native of St. Joseph, Missouri was a LIvermore resident for 42 years. Following graduation from the Unitversity of Missouri and service in the Air Force during the Korean conflict, he was employled by the General Electric Company at its Vallecitos Reasearh Center, serving in various engineering and management positions prior to his retirement. His hobbies were sports, music, painting, hiking, reading, travel and gardening. Services and burial are private, as he wished.
