At Old Man River, we take every step possible to provide you with the highest quality beer available.
Unique to the region, our state of the art Austrian brewhouse uses a process known as decoction which, although more complicated and labor intensive,
produces the fullest flavor with the smoothest finish. Moreover, we strictly adhere to the German purity laws which prohibit the use of additives other than the four ingredients of beer:
Water, Grain, Hops and Yeast.
The result is a world class beer brewed right here at Old Man River.

Helles

Our Helles is a refreshing lager with a light (helles is German for light) golden color and just a touch of hops for a crisp clean finish. Perfect for any occassion, the Helles is the lightest of our styles.
ABV: 4.9%
Food Match: Brie, Gouda, Havarti, Swiss, Salads, Pork, Fish, and Shellfish

Weizen

Beer Style: Bavarian Weizen
Characteristics: Our Bavarian Weizen is a light and refreshing German style wheat beer.
Its cloudy appearance and spicy flavor can be attributed to the Old World yeast used to make it.
ABV: 5.5%
Food Match: Fish, chicken, brats or burgers.

Pils

Our Pils is a light golden lager with a distinct hop flavor and crisp clean finish.
Since its creation this style has become famous the world over.
This is a truly classic style perfect for any occasion.
ABV: 5.0%
Food Match: Cream-based soups, crab, clam, shrimp, oysters and lobster

Dunkel

The Dunkel is a dark (dunkel is German for Dark) lager from the great beer halls of Munich.
It has a malty slightly roasted flavor and a smooth finish. This is the darkest of our regular beers.
ABV: 4.8%
Food Match: Asiago, Colby, Parmesan Cheeses and Salmon

Marzen (Oktoberfest)

Our Marzen is an amber colored beer with a complex malty flavor with a spicy dry finish.
In Germany this beer is traditionally brewed in March and rolled out for
the biggest beer festival of the year, Oktoberfest.
At the Old Man, we bring this classic to you year round.
